'Twas the night before launch, when all through the team
Last minute checks had us running out of steam;
With campaign and brand message crafted with care,
In hopes that lots of web traffic would soon be there;
The client was nestled all snug in their beds,
While visions of orders danced in their heads;
New press release, blog, video, and logo
Social, email, and ads were scheduled to go.
When out from my smartphone there arose such a clatter,
I sprang from my seat to see what was the matter.
Away to the Hubspot portaI I flew like a flash,
Logged in in a hurry and opened the dash.
The teaser campaign had been out for weeks
It started off slow, we wondered when it would peak.
When, what to my wondering eyes should appear,
But a spike in traffic as I popped open my beer,
With confidence rising, I was quick to click click,
I knew in a moment our campaign would stick.
The teaser was working and I knew in a minute
That our launch would be successful and we would kill it.
Now, Twitter! now, Facebook! now, Instagram, and LinkedIN!
On, eMail! on ads! on, blogs and customer wins!
Bring prospects to the funnel! Work as fast as you can!
Prove that Inbound is not a flash in the pan!"
Red Javelin came through, the launch a success,
Coverage was plentiful, the board was impressed.
Web traffic was up, conversions looked good,
Sales were humming, just like they should.
The client was happy, but just for a minute
“Great job team but let’s get to it!
There’s more work to do – we’ve only just begun
Thank you Red Javelin, at least you have made it fun!"
Happy Holidays from the Red Javelin Team!
